1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Anvil application ("we", "our", or "App") collects, uses, and protects your personal information. Anvil is an offline-first workout diary and training planner. By using Anvil, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Account data: name and email address, collected when you create an account
• Training data: training cycles, workouts, exercises, sets and loads, body measurements, cardio sessions, and your post-workout diary entries (ratings and notes about how each session felt)
• Voice notes (optional): you may record short audio notes for your workout diary using the device microphone. Audio recordings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

2.2 Information from third parties

• If you use social login (Google or Apple), we receive your name and email as authorized by you. Authentication is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider.
• Subscription status (Anvil Pro): if you subscribe, Apple processes the payment and we receive only the subscription status (plan, active/expired, trial, renewal date) linked to your account through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We never receive your card number or Apple ID password.

2.3 What we do NOT collect

• We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs
• We do not collect location data
• We do not access your photos or camera
